This site was created so that all shadowbanned content can be easily found by this community and guests. If the community grows and is more active then more features will be added, such as chatrooms or video sections. 

Registered users are able to use the LINKS section to add links to their content online or content for others who are known for being shadowbanned on social media.

Registered users are able to use the EVENTS section to add news items about their own work such as podcasts and livestreams.

Shadowbanning is an evil and corrupt operation pervading our digital lives. People with meager personalities (mods at YouTube or Instagram, for example) should not be entiltled to make judgments that affect broader society. I privilege the democratic process and value the public forum as a place that is tolerant of differing views and difficult topics.

Our hope is that this service encourages the exercising of responsible self-censorship in the virtual, so that eventually shadowbanning is no longer excusable.  

About me: I have been shadowbanned on most platforms for over a decade. My website LowBrowsing.com is not indexed properly by search engines and my YouTube videos rarely see the light of day (most have been switched to "unlisted" status now). I am tolerant of individualism when the person's values oppose mine, but it is collectivism of any kind that draws my harsh criticism. I privilege rational individualism and "3D thinking". I'm not a libertarian and I don't think of myself in terms of left-center-right political alignments. What I don't believe in is Orwellian dystopia as a social status quo, and unfortunately, this is the direction we have been heading in recently. Time to push back against this indignant fascism and COUNTERBAN is my contribution to that effort. 

N.B. "Fascism" is not about political alignment, but instead it describes a movement to impose cultural values on others by force or coercion. The etymology of the word 'fascism' is rooted in the Latin word for "bundle". Hence, fascism is about collectivism, and the suppression and oppression of the individual. When we lose our freedom to think as individuals and to share our values or opinions with the community then we must accept that the power in society is wielded by fascists. 

Shadowbanning has been a process used in a blatantly discriminatory way where rational individualists are ostracized from social media platforms and then lumped-in with radical bigots. COUNTERBAN exists to correct this issue and to expose the corruption for what it is - gratuitous and malicious acts perpetrated by the petty and morally inept.
